Why I happily make mistakes!

I absolutely LOVE this quote! Indulge me with the opportunity to tell you why...If you were to ask me three years ago what kept me from exploring my own artistic side and I gave you my most honest answer, it would be my fear of making mistakes. I erroneously thought that artists, at least the real ones I wanted to be like, didn't make them. It took years of processing for me to begin to understand the fallacy behind that thought process and see it for what it really was... Many have penned a name for "it." Pastor Furtick refers to it as "the Chatterbox." Steven Pressfield calls it "resistance." No matter what you call "it" the goal is the same. To keep you from your greatness! I now accept the challenge when I make mistakes. The challenge is to make it look intentional! Some of my greatest pieces I've done are remarkable because of a "mistake" changing it's entire trajectory. I now freely embrace my mistaken prone art!
